Safety operating procedures for heat treatment workers in box type resistance furnaces

1. Check if there are any abnormal parts inside the furnace boring, and the furnace bottom plate and resistance wire must be in good condition.

2. When the workpiece enters or exits the furnace during work, power should be cut off and attention should be paid to ensuring that the workpiece or tool does not collide or come into contact with the resistance wire.

3. The operating temperature of the box type resistance furnace shall not exceed the rated value.

4. Before powering on the electric furnace, the switch should be turned on first, and then the control cabinet button should be turned on. When stopping the furnace, the control cabinet button should be turned off first, and then the switch should be pulled.

5. Regularly clean all parts of the equipment (including the lower part of the furnace bottom plate) of oxides and dirt every month, and promptly repair any problems found.

6. The heat treatment drying oven, heating furnace, and electric melting furnace shall not exceed their respective rated temperatures, and the rest shall be executed according to this regulation.
